Extra Time TO Ride

THE FIRST 2017 Fall Camp Out is on the Books!!! (Ride limited to 25 riders)

Join Us November 18th & 19th on the Berryman Trail. 

 

We finally figured out all the details and we are super excited to be able to ride some of the finest single track trails that the Missouri Region has to offer! Below is what the weekend will look like!

 

Friday Night

Some of the STL MTB Camps team will be down Friday night 8:00 to get things situated. You are welcome to come early but food and drinks for the night and morning will be your responsibility. 

 

Saturday Morning 8:30 Meetup - 11:00 Ride

We will meet at the 44 & 141 commuter lot HERE

 

STL MTB Camps will trailer the bikes and young riders will catch a ride with our Chaperones. We will meet at the Berry Man Camp Ground HERE at 11:00 Sharp. 

We will knock out a bike & Helmet check, explain the details and then head out for the ride of a lifetime. Please come with a full belly of high-quality carbs and hydration. We will have 2 different options of distances 10-12 miles & the whole 22-mile trail. Both lengths will be a no drop rides and will have adults in the front and back of the group. 

 

Lunch

We will have Snacks, Fruits, and Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches provided on the trails. Please bring a way to transport at least 2 water bottles or a hydration pack. 

 

Saturday Night 

Whenever we finish back at Berryman Campground we will then head 30 minutes away to spend the night Timberland Lake Here, 

 

There we will enjoy plentiful food options (meat and veggie) cooked over the campfire. S'mores are standard. We will share stories and hit some night hike action (Bring a flashlight).

 

Sunday Morning

Classic Breakfast will be provided, Eggs, Toast, Bacon, Campfire Donuts, & OJ

We will do a 1.5-mile hike and enjoy views of the bluffs, lakes, and fall foliage. 

We will Depart at 12:00 with snacks in the car to hold us over. 

 

Sunday Afternoon

We will arrive at back at the 44 & 141 Commuter Lot at 2:00.

 

 

What to bring

- Helmet 

- Tuned Bike

- Spare Tube for your bike

- Backpack with 2 water bottles or Hydropack 

- Appropriate Clothing (More layers the better!)

- Gloves & Hat

- Tent, Mattress pad of some sort, Sleeping bag (If you need some we have extra)

- Change of Clothes (2 Pairs of Socks)

-Flashlight

- Chair 

- Postive attitude and a Smile

Chaperones Free but Limited (We appreciate your support)

Please make sure you have everything on Friday night!

We will have a mobile car unit at spots along the trail in case of emergency.

Cell Service is limited

This could be the coolest event of all time and is inspired by our childhood experiences.
