Children ages 8-14 will learn the FUN-damentals and safety of off-road cycling including: starting, stopping, shifting, turning, pedaling, bike maintenance, trail safety, LNT principles and much more. We have the unique opportunity to ride some of the leading trail networks St. Louis has to offer while making some great new friends along the way!
9am-noon
+ Adventure Camp
After mountain bike camp we continue our day to explore the great outdoors. Campers will join in outdoor group games, scenic nature hikes, trail etiquette, orienteering, arts & crafts, challenging scavenger hunts and team-building activities. All this culminates with a fun cooperative adventure race that combines our bike skills with an orienteering challenge.
12:00-3:30pm
Castlewood Mountain Bike + Adventure
Summer Camp
Pre-Requisites

Our youth camps are intended for children ages 8-14. Participants must be able to ride a bike. "Riding a bike" includes but is not limited to comfortably starting, stopping, turning, and riding 3+ miles on pavement. We encourage children and parents to ride as much as possible before attending camp; from our experience, this sets a good base and helps ensure the best camp experience.
Private lessons: Available for riders of all ages and skill levels. We recommend them for children who do not meet the above requirements and need instruction on the basics of trail riding. This is a great way to prepare your child for future camps and get ready for trail riding. To book a private lesson please email us at ride@stlmtb.com
